Costa Rica Hermosa came about due to the lack of developments on the beach with Gated Community Concept in the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
- The developers were looking for Beachfront Property where one could build a beautiful house on a nice parcel of land, that was still affordable and still have the necessary security to lock it up and go home. After searching the coast there was nothing available.
- Costa Rica Hermosa Beachfront Estates is a development similar to the "Gated Community Concept" in various communities around Florida. Hermosa Beach is located 2 minutes south of Jaco, with over 40 hectares (100 acres); this premier property is being developed in 5 Phases.
- The developers will keep the beauty of the property by developing large parcels and having luxury homes as well as cottages built in a relaxed and casual beach like atmosphere, similar to 6 other developments in other parts of the world.
- Costa Rica Hermosa is presently 110 km (67 miles) from San Jose, the Capital of Costa Rica. The new highway to be completed in the next 2 years, from San Jose to Orotina has inspired this development. It will shorten the trip form San Jose - Hermosa Beach from the present 1:45 hr. to about 50 minutes.
