Why Costa Rica?
Costa Rica is considered the “Switzerland” of Latin America. Even though Costa Rica is still relatively undiscovered, it’s reputation for ecology, preservation, safety, central location and high level of education has attracted over 1 million American, Canadian and German investors, and visitors in 2009.
Costa Rica is an extremely attractive location due to closeness and 42% visitors from the U.S. with an additional 43% of Europeans visitors.
The diversity of activities and new hotel developments increased the interest in Costa Rica tourism. Costa Rica is like a very large National Park, with major volcanoes, white water rafting, birds, flora, fauna and lovely beaches, surfing and one of the best fishing in the world.
Miami being just 2:20 hours away is a major advantage compared to other resort destinations. Costa Rica tourism has doubled in the last 10 years and presently major corporations, developers and hotels such a 5 stars Four Seasons Hotel and the Marriott are investing in Costa Rica.
The new Freeway -
The Costa Rican government has just inaugurated the new freeway Autopista del Sol, from San Jose to Orotina – a straight line – that has shorten the trip from San Jose to Jaco' to 55 minutes, compared to the trip that used to take 2:45 hrs using the old freeway.
Why Hermosa Beach- Jaco ?
Hermosa Beach is one of the largest parcels of undeveloped property still available within an hour’s drive from the capital San Jose. It is one of the premier surfing beaches in the world, hosting world-class events. It is a jewel of perfect waves, sandy beaches and natural vegetation. Jaco beach 5 minutes to the north has been mostly developed, with its 150 bars, restaurants and casinos, with over 20 new high rises under construction or finished.
Playa Herradura, the next beach to the north of Jaco has been successfully developed by the Marriott and Los Suenos which sold over 1300 condos and single family lots in the last 3 years. The Marriott has approximately 250 rooms and has an independently run golf course. The beach in Playa Herradura has no waves and is used as a harbor for deep sea fishing fleets at the Los Suenos Marina.
The property is 30 Hectares or approximately 80 acres, measuring 1300 meters along the beachfront and 300 meters deep, located in Hermosa Beach. Hermosa is 5 minutes from Jaco; a relatively famous beach town on the West Coast of Costa Rica. This parcel of land is undeveloped, as is the entire beach of Hermosa. As such it is the largest and closest beachfront property still available for development within an hour of San Jose. The main Highway is just 50 meters from the entrance of the development. The frontage of 1300 meters allows for creating a sense of all r esidence will feel ON THE BEACH.
While beachfront property is rare in Jaco, with price ranging from $500 to $1000/m2, our property is extremely reasonably priced at the moment. A valuation done by a premier International company valued the price of the property at around $375/m3. We are presently offering parcels at 50% of the appraised value depending on the size of the parcel to be acquired.
